Co-hosted by Amanda Hearst, junior committee chair. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was among the featured speakers. Hudson Riverkeeper Alex Matthiessen and Peconic Baykeeper Kevin McAllister also spoke. Cocktails 6:30 to 9 PM. A private champagne supper was served at the Hearst home at 9 PM; Junior Committee After Party at the Star Room in Wainscott. Hudson Riverkeeper and Peconic Baykeeper are two of the New York area's leading groups fighting to protect the public's right to clean water.
