More than four hundred celebrities, philanthropists and environmentally-interested New Yorkers and East Enders came together to support the protection and restoration of eastern Long Island's natural environment at EcoFabulous in the East End, a sold-out benefit for Group for the East End. Powered by bio-diesel generators and inspired by a conservation ethic, EcoFabulous in the East End featured a farm-to-table mealsourced from local farms and prepared by award-winning local chefs; potted centerpieces that will be planted on the East End post-event; electronic event communication; and a hotly-anticipated luxury EcoAuction that features Tesla-for-a-weekend100% electric driving experience; luxury stay at the Dominican Republic’s Casa de Campo with eco-spa treatments at Cygalle Healing Spa; a rare Beech tree from Marder’s Nursery; Ferragamo eco-handbag; Brilliant Earth’s recycled gold jewelry and more.
