Thursday, September 21, 2006, 6:30-9:30 PM, Forbes Galleries at Forbes Magazine Headquarters, 62 Fifth Avenue at 12th Street, New York City-- The Tomorrow's Leaders Most Unique Auction, Cocktail Party & Fashion Show" to benefit The Community Coalition was sponsored by Stolichnaya elit and featured a fashion show displaying the designs of Tiffany Koury, Moe Bags, Nicole Romano, Lilly Pulitzer and Dakota Martin. Auction by Joe Watkins. Fashion Show styled and organized by Social Life Magazine Fashion Director, Elizabeth Durand with the assistance of Cece Gehring. Special thanks to Ford Models and Model/Actress/Socialite: Leven Rambin, the sister of Moe Bags designer Mary Rambin who left the crowd in shock and awe when they descended from the staircase. Tomorrows Leaders Co-Chairs: Chad Burkhardt, Catherine I Forbes, Allison Weiss-Brady (Allison is an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania and very active with several local charities including Say Yes to Education, Edwin Gould Services For Children & Families and Safe Horizon),Chip Brady and Christopher London. Committee Members included Shamin Abas, Melissa Rosenthal Brenner, Kipton Cronkite, Casey Degen, Bernadette Durham, Laura Essey, Charlotte & Phil Escavarage, Moira Forbes, Sabina Forbes, Miguel Forbes, Kathleen Giordano, Valerie Gurka, Sam Huttenbauer, Dr. Jennifer Jablow, Alison Minton, Dawn Palo, Joey Prego, Matt Moran, Caroline Waxler & Michel Witmer. The evening's story line is simply this, on a socially active Thursday Night in New York City, this was the hottest ticket in town. A warm, friendly and philanthropically active group of New Yorkers joined the late great media mogul Malcolm Forbes' daughter Moira Forbes Mumma, Community Coalition volunteers, Co-Chairs, Committee Members, guests and esteemed members of the local press at a historic locale to witness the beautiful Catherine I. Forbes glamorously attired in Tiffany Koury sublimely steal the show. Looking on at the magnificence of the designs, the energy that filled the room as guests sipped Stolichnaya elit cocktails and watched Ford Models strut down the staircase of the historic Forbes Galleries, Catherine Forbes exhibited an unmistakeable humility, grace and charm that left an indelible impression on this observer.
